Vegan RAW sour cream
Most store-bought plant based sour cream contains soy and a bunch of fillers. This recipe contains a few ingredients and is super easy to make. Perfect for tacos, nachos and dips!
Ingredients
1 1/2 cup raw cashews + water for soaking
3/4 cup filtered water
2 teaspoons apple cider vinegar
Juice of one lemon
Pink salt, to taste
Instructions
Soak cashews and water in a jar or covered container, overnight, in the refrigerator. Drain and rinse.
In a high speed blender or food processor, add pre-soaked cashews, filtered water, vinegar, lemon juice and salt. Blend until smooth.
Refrigerate until you’re ready to use. Store in an air-tight container for up to a week.
