Raw vegan brownies
Four ingredient brownies that are phenomenal on top of a bowl of nice cream (aka blended frozen bananas) or a smoothie. Also great for a chocolatey treat without the guilt.
Ingredients
16 pitted medjool dates
2/3 cup raw walnuts
1/2 cup cacao powder
2/3 teaspoon vanilla extract or paste
Instructions
Into a food processor or high speed blender, add all four ingredients. Pulse together at first then turn on low speed until ingredients are combined and dates have been blended.
Press mixture in a parchment lined square baking sheet. Place in refrigerator for one hour.
Using a sharp knife, cut brownies into small bite sized pieces. Store covered in the refrigerator.
