Vegan zero point oil-free kale basil Spread

This spread can be used in so many ways. You can spread it on your homemade almond pulp crackers, toss it with tofu and sautéed veggies, use as a sauce in any dish… options are endless.

Ingredients

1 can organic garbanzo beans, drained and rinsed

3 cups kale, de-stemmed

1 cup (packed) fresh basil leaves

4 tablespoons nutritional yeast

1 large clove garlic

Juice of one lemon

Pink salt and black pepper, to taste

1/4-1/2 cup filtered water (depending on desired thickness of spread/sauce)

Instructions

Combine all ingredients into a food processor or high speed blender.

Adjust ingredients to taste.

Store in an air-tight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
