Raw vegan sprOuted hummus
A great alternative to traditional hummus that is raw vegan friendly.
Ingredients
2 cups sprouted chickpeas (takes 4 days - change water daily until the beans start to sprout)
Juice of 1 lemon
4 tablespoons raw tahini
5 tablespoons ground cumin
3 tablespoons cold-pressed olive oil
6 garlic cloves
1 tablespoon pink salt
2 teaspoon ground paprika
Pinch of ground cayenne
Instructions
Add drained and rinsed sprouted chickpeas and other ingredients into a food processor and high-speed blender, blend until smooth, adding a little clean water if it’s too thick. You want it to be thick and creamy.
Top with a little extra olive oil and paprika. Store in an air-tight container, in fridge, for up to one week.
